Description

Château Peyrabon is located in the heart of the Médoc, nestled in a verdant setting, magnificently situated on a gravelly ridge a few kilometers from Pauillac.  The earliest written record of the property dates back to 1766, when Château Peyrabon appeared on the Belleyme map, drawn in the 18th century by Pierre de Belleyme, the cartographer-engineer of King Louis XV.  At that time, Château Peyrabon was shown as a wine estate in the commune of Saint-Sauveur-Pauillac.

Owned by the Castéja family since 2022, Château Peyrabon benefits from the Castéja winemaking expertise and its teams who are used to working meticulously for the other properties of the group including the famous Grands Crus Classés Château Batailley and Château Lynch-Moussas.

The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
